Hi! I’m Ally and I’m a senior Scientific Illustration major at Arcadia University. As a scientific illustrator, I aim to combine art and science by using visuals to capture the characteristics of a subject in order to inform and educate my audience. I specialize in accurately portraying the specific characteristics, structure, and color of a subject through intense observation. I work mostly in traditional mediums, whether that be colored pencil, ink, graphite, or watercolor, but I have also experimented with digital mediums as well. My goal is to create educational and scientifically accurate illustrations that can bridge the gap between art and science, so that the public can get a better understanding of what they might be looking at.
